Yank is a clipboard history and drag shelf that waits at the edge of your Mac's screen. Text, images, files — press ⌘⇧V to call it, ⏎ to paste.

Photos copied through Universal Clipboard land in your history too. Copy several at once and they arrive as a single stack.

Drag anything from the panel straight into another app — or drop things onto the panel to keep them. No more rearranging windows to move a file.

Gather files and images into a single stack, then drag them out or paste them together. Fan the stack open right on the panel to check what's inside.

Combine themafter the fact.
Images and files you copied separately become one stack when you drop one onto another. From the keyboard, mark with ⌘M and merge into the next item.

The keyboard works the moment the panel opens. Type to filter, arrow to choose, ⏎ to paste into the app you were using — which never loses focus.

Questions
When does it launch?
Yank is in the final stretch before its Mac App Store release. We will post the date here and on Frame Tech's channels as soon as it is set.
What does it require?
Yank is macOS only. Supported macOS versions will be listed here once they are finalized for the App Store submission.
Where is my clipboard data stored?
Only on your Mac, in ~/Library/Containers/com.frametech.yank. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
How much can I do for free?
Every feature works in the free version. The only limits are on how much is kept: 8 text or link items, 3 images, 3 files and 1 stack.
Monthly or lifetime — what's the difference?
Nothing, feature-wise. Monthly ($2.99) comes with a 7-day free trial and can be cancelled anytime. Lifetime ($69.99) is a single payment with nothing after. Both prices are planned.
What is the thing at the right edge of this page?
A demo that looks and responds to keys just like the real Yank. It only records text you copy on this page, sends it nowhere, and forgets everything when you close the tab.
How does this relate to open source?
Yank is a fork of Edge-Drop, a Windows app released under the Apache License 2.0, substantially rewritten for macOS. The full license and a notice of changes ship with the app.
